Tour of Abbadia
Duration : 50 minuts.
Let’s discover Antoine d’Abbadie, a scientific explorer of the XIXth century, and his mansion build by the famous architect Eugène Viollet-le-Duc.
The discover starts in the observatory of astronomy equipped with Antoine d’Abbadie’s instruments. Souvenirs and inspirations of his travels all over the world adorn the walls : Ethiopian lifestyle’s scenes, Jerusalem bedroom or an Arabian living-room…The mansion is furnished and restaured as it was at the XIXth century.

If you prefer, sometimes, we organize tours without guide to discover on your own the castle. In that case, you will have to download a leaflet on your phone to visit all the rooms of Abbadia.
"Les Abords d’Abbadia" guided tour
Duration : 1h30
2 times in that tour.
To the classic guided tour, we add 30 minuts outside the castle : the neogothic style, sculpures, and the gardens are explained.

"Prestige" guided tour
Duration : 2h
Once a month (exept July and August) , it's a way to discover the place and know the Abbadies like VIPs.
Moreover, it is the only chance to visit a new restaured room : the kitchen !
